Gift Envelopes -quilling

      Dear friends please order decorative quilled envelopes only from the above selection as these are ready to be shipped  as on August 2016 . We are getting a lot of queries about envelopes made and sold years ago which are obviously not available at present. Its heartening no doubt but we strive to create new designs instead of churning out copies of the same year after year.
 Gift envelopes are always in demand round the year and more so during the festival and wedding season. A unique decorated gift envelope speaks volumes about the person who gifts it . Generally such envelopes are treasured as keepsakes!

Altered Canvas

   Altered art is something so unique that has no limits, just use your imagination and you are ready to go ! I ventured into this new form of art as I wanted to use my collection of various chipboard dials, cages , mulberry flowers etc which were bought solely for their charm and not for any project.  A few canvas boards , empty bottles were also waiting for some creativity  and altered art seemed to be the perfect solution for everything.
 One can see bits of lace, a chipboard dial , shells ( leftover of my gel candle making days), paper and clay flowers all adhered on to the canvas and painted with acrylics.
 It appears that some more art material is needed , something like buttons, nuts ,more chipboard accents to make an interesting piece. Must do some online craft shopping again !

Clay Art Bottle

 Clay art is addictive , in between making flowers  I decided to decorate bottles with clay. This particular bottle had a nice texture and a few coats of acrylic paints did the rest. I had a great time making the door and coloring the stones !
 There is a door and 3 windows and a painted tree with blossoms adorning the walls  decoupaged with paper napkins.

Quilled Flower 3 D

 Paper quilling flowers  in a vase ..........why not? I had made these paper quilling large 3 D flowers a few days back and thought of  displaying them in a tiny watering can vase. I found thin wire stems used in clay flower making  ideal for holding up the quilled flowers and buds.
  It helps to have lots of flower making material  and tiny vases, bicycles, baskets for making and displaying my floral creations.Surprisingly the flowers with slightly tilted petals and buds looked good with wire stems and made a pretty picture!

Clay Hibiscus Flowers

    Hibiscus are beautiful large flowers which grow in the tropics and bloom abundantly  during the summer season.  They look exotic and come in various color like red , white, pink , yellow etc.
 Sometime back I made lots and lots of hibiscus in red and white colors on order. The flowers were more than  3 "across with 6 "stems for a vase arrangement and were much appreciated !
   Clay hibiscus are used for decorating gift boxes and other gift items and also look great in vases. The best part is that they are eco-friendly, never wilt or need water, they can be dusted with a soft dry brush .
