Clay flower painting

Clay flower making is very addictive and enjoyable, I have several boxes of ready clay flowers and leaves just waiting to be displayed.

Recently I decided to make a wall hanging with my clay flowers as I had a variety of roses, daisies, filler flowers and leaves in various sizes and colors.

Crescent or circular, background color, color combination  so many decisions had to be taken. In the end a circular arrangement won as it's easy to hang on the wall with hooks.

I found a large 12" Mdf board with stencilled  roses on it and decided to use it for my project. Several happy hours and days later it was ready.

Hope this inspires others to display their handmade flowers creatively instead of keeping them safely in cupboards and enjoy their beauty!

Clay flower hair clips

Clay flowers are very durable, lightweight, environments friendly and make awesome hair clips. Basically I love making flowers and have boxes full of clay and foamirahandmade flowers.

Handmade flowers  look great on fashion  accessories  like  hair clips, floral combs ,hair bands and are one of a kind.

Clay Flower Arrangements

Clay flowers are eco-friendly, durable and look the same year after year , need no water , do not wilt or need looking after. They cannot be washed  but can be cleaned with  dry brush strokes to remove dust etc. I have some of my favorite clay flowers with me which look as fresh as ever.
The above piece is made on MDF board  approx 12 " by 4" on order.
